One combined block. PPE and decon are taught together because HAZO TASK #3 item 11 grades doffing PPE WHILE going through decontamination. The reps at the end serve both skill sheets at once. Scheduled Mon, Oct 19, 2026, 1800-2200.

  1. Select and use appropriate PPE at a hazmat or WMD incident (7.3.1, 9.2.1)
  2. Differentiate the three categories of skin protection and the five CBRN ensemble classes (7.3.1, 9.2.1)
  3. Describe measures that prevent PPE-related stresses (7.3.1, 9.2.1)
  4. List actions to avoid contamination and explain emergency decontamination (7.3.1, 7.4.1, 7.5.1)
  5. Explain implementation of emergency decontamination (7.5.1)
  6. Skill Sheets 10-1 to 10-6, 9-1 and 9-2
