The night the Awareness practical is taught. Collecting hazard information, working the ERG, isolating and denying entry, and notification - then repeated reps on the Initial Response Form. Scheduled Thu, Sep 24, 2026, 1800-2200.

  1. Identify where and how Awareness Level Personnel should collect hazard information (5.2.1)
  2. Demonstrate how to use the Emergency Response Guidebook at a hazmat incident (5.2.1, 5.3.1)
  3. Explain how Awareness Level Personnel should isolate and deny entry (5.3.1)
  4. Explain the notification process for Awareness Level Personnel (5.4.1)
  5. Skill Sheets 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 - identify indicators/hazards, implement protective actions, make notifications
